The most likely reason for the never ending delays is the change of battery supplier from NorthVolt to probably LG-Chem who supplies the packs for the other Porsche EVs….
I have had three previous Taycans all Turbo Ss.
The first one: MY20 was electrically and electronically a Guinea pig series
Second one: a MY20 was a much better car with very few problems.
Third one: a MY23 I changed because I thought I wanted the wagon body stile…. I was wrong for me, but a...
I know the seat well. The non moulded ones are a little tough on the long runs, in my old GT3 991, but got the moulded one for my current GT3 992 and now my spyder RS and I use them for transalpine hill-climbes. Full weekend stints with 7-8 behind the wheel all days. Not had a sore bum or tired...
Here are some more pics
Interesting…. This is a new code I was given by my Porsche rep just a couple of days ago… and I now think it is the steering wheel manufacturer that’s gone belly up….. if you look there is suddenly only a singular button on the wheel and the configuration does not let...
And the steering wheel with its dual buttons and paddles……. Maybe they have that config in the GT3 RS…… but there I am sure they have already ordered the finite amount of wheels needed for the production run….
I do agree with you that the most probable cause would be the 900amp inverter….. we...
Just got some downbeat info and some good info on the turbo GT..

doesn’t really matter if it only existed for the last 4 years. It’s still the most dynamic one.
so bring it on. I am super excited. As I think the Taycan needs better handling. Due to its weight. And if you see how composed it seems to be in the video from the 2nd of jan., it should be...
GT or which ever name it will have is coming. That’s certain. And apparently it’s an absolute monster……. 2-3 motors…? HP? Who knows. The 7.07 time was definitely NOT with the new Turbo S. the time is super close to the Nevera with close to 2000HP. The Plaid with Track pack was somewhere around...
If you have the old one there is a bank of dip-switches that need to be in the correct position. If it’s a newer one you just go to the app and tell it to work with all cars. I swear by them. They are the cheapest, best performant and the smallest on the market. At least in Europe. We had lots...
