    Humming/rumble sound when coasting above 130 km/h

Yes totally sure - (i do have the insulated glass) why would the sound go away when i just barely touch the accelerator (just keeping the same speed).. If it was tires, the sound would be constant - also when motors were engaged..

    Humming/rumble sound when coasting above 130 km/h

Hello fellow taycan owners, The last couple of days I noticed a new “sound” in my Taycan 4S. When driving on highway at high speed (above 130 km/h) and then lift off the accelerator i get a rumble/humming sound from what seems to be the motors.. When i enable re-gen, the sound go away, if I...

    Battery Degradation

Battery degradation is very hard to define and calculate from normal driving and charging habits. I have now driven 41.500 km in 21 months, and are slow charging 98% of the time.. Have not noticed any reduction in range at all - are still getting 450 km on a full charge - the same as when it...

Finally figured it out - Home Energy Manager + Mobile Charger Connect + Solar

At last!! All is working now after some trouble in regard the current sensors.. Bought new ones, so all is the same type of sensor, so now the current is displayed correct.. PLC connection between HEM and PMCC was easy, just had to activate the PLC connection on them both.. Made a new profile...

Finally figured it out - Home Energy Manager + Mobile Charger Connect + Solar

Hi Craig, In order to view and monitor the current flows (solar and grid), how many phase sensors have you mounted to your system? when my solar are producing power, its shows up as grid power flowing to house (yes i know, the sensors are not mounted on the 3 phases coming from the inverter)...

Finally figured it out - Home Energy Manager + Mobile Charger Connect + Solar

Hi Craig, I have just installed solar, and also are planning installing the HEM, as I really would like to use as much of the solar production as possible. Today my possible minimum charge rate from the PMCC is 4 kw (when dropping the current to 6A and maximum is 11Kw at 16A) However in the...

Finally figured it out - Home Energy Manager + Mobile Charger Connect + Solar

i will have a chat with my electrician tomorrow, sounds like its a fairly simple installation into my already existing system, and no interference with the solar system should be required. Thanks a lot folks :)

Finally figured it out - Home Energy Manager + Mobile Charger Connect + Solar

So did just recieve my HEM, and there is 3 sensors provided with it - they are massive 100A sensors… Do you know if it would be possible to order smaller ones as my system here in DK only is 16A and 32A..?? My electrician also tells me, that he would assume that more sensors are needed, if i am...

Taycan Charging Quick Reference [Profiles and Timers]

I dont quite understand that when i read the specs for the HEM… Looks like it was supposed to make the charging programmable in every way?

Taycan Charging Quick Reference [Profiles and Timers]

As many of you guys, I also found that it’s impossible to program the charging to optimize the use of the cheap electricity rates at night. I just would like to have a general profile which would start the charge at 02.00 AM, and stop again at AM 05.30 or if the SoC would reach 85% within this...

hmmm - my lovely Taycan is limited to 220 miles range - [Edit] I think it's the tires…

but even if the data is corrupt, then would one imagine that actual driving would in terms of distance be the same? - unless ofcourse the range is affected in a way, so battery actual does hold charge, but the guess-o-meter says zero..

hmmm - my lovely Taycan is limited to 220 miles range - [Edit] I think it's the tires…

What if you choose the ”since charging” tab, and then find the trip by going back to the specific date? What does it read then?

What was the average consumption on that specific trip? - this Way i guess you could calculate usage and battery capacity?

What is your current weather conditions? I do most of my miles on highway at avg. 80-85 mph.. temp approx 20 celsius.. (avg. Approx 39kwh/100 miles when doing highway speeds)

What is your average comsumption? - really nice figures, I also have 4S with +battery and 20” turbo wheels - mine only shows 207 miles @ 85%, and has been consistenly like that.. My average consumption is for the last 4188 km is 20,9 KWh/100 km (must be approx. 34 kWh/100 miles)
