Yup. This is a real downside of the dealers being independent outfits, rather and part of Porsche

Really cool! I was wondering, have you updated a 1.1 taycan to the latest PCM version? I would love to see a confirmation somewhere that this will actually unlock the updates we've seen on the 1.2. Specifically, Carplay navigation directions in the dash, and the updates to the navigation system...

Unfortunately that also seems to only work for US VINs. At least my German VIN doesn’t work.

How do you know if you’re unable to receive ota updates? I haven’t seen the update pop up yet… also, the letter I got last year talked about WRS0, not ARB6. When I search for these it’s clear they are related or even the same (different regions perhaps?), but I’m not sure how. Can anyone clear...

That could well be! My Porsche dealer told me they have not heard about this issue before and asked me to bring my car for diagnostics. I will, at some point, but I can’t miss it at the moment so it will be a while.

After taking my Taycan in for 12V battery diagnostics, I have an annoying and persistent issue with navigation via PCM: it hangs. Pretty sure it will all ‘just work’ as the update is on the phone, not in the car.
