I am an ex Taycan 4S owner and current Ford Mach-e GT owner.
I text drove the GV60 Performance model. Here are my quick thoughts:
Exterior looks: so-so
Interior looks: good
Interior space: More than the Taycan, especially the rear seat. Smaller than the Ford. Smaller trunk and tiny frunk...
It is a phone application that Porsche has built to initiate the free charging sessions in Electrify America. You can download it from your phone's app store. When you open the app you will have to log in with your Porsche credentials.

Exactly like me. I also sold at 10 months and 2xxx miles and the rattles were my biggest issue (plus the car died once while driving because of the software bug in Power Electronics).
You can get very good acceleration from many EVs which don't rattle.
zero rattles after 6 months, even on rough pavement. I know people who own their Ford MMEs for at least a year and nobody has rattle issues. I don't think that MME will develop rattles. The interior built quality reminds me of my ex Macan which had no rattles after 5 years.
I don't know how...
After owning a Taycan 4s for 10 months and a Ford MME GT for 6 months, I would certainly pick the MME GT with Perf package (Magnaride suspension) over a base RWD Taycan.
Between a 4S and a MME GT then it is harder to pick. Both cars have about the same power for daily driving. The MME is a more...
My permanent solution was to sell my nerve-breaking rattling Taycan 4S and buy a Ford Mach-e GT. The Ford MME has zero rattles. I am an active member of the MME forum with thousands of members and to the best of my knowledge nobody has reported rattles. Problem solved :)
It happened to my Macan when it was in for an oil leak. They asked if the service manager had my permission to driveit to his home and I explicitly said no in writing (text). However they ignored my response and the car spent the whole weekend in the manager's house. When I got it back it had...
Yes this cover comes out very easily with plastic pry tools. But you cannot remove it completely to drive the car without it because it has something like a plastic string to keep it together with the door panel.
Btw I also thought some of my rattles came from that cover but they didn't. They...
FYI Porsche published a TSB last month advising against the usage of boosters like NOCO to jump the 12v battery because they might catch fire.

Ford Mach-e has two backup pincodes, one to unlock and one to start sthe car but some owners have discovered that due to another bug the pincode start does not work (pincode start erased on its own for whatever reason).
So the Failsafe failed as well.
Since we are on the topic, the latest Ford app update seems to break Phone as a Key at some Android phones and some Mach-e owners are left stranded. What is even worse it also appears that the backup pincode to start the car does not always work. It is pretty viral on the Mach-e forum.
As I said...
I meant log the reason of the fault not the fact there was a fault. And of course given a log of the root cause the dealer could either perform a repair or corporate Porsche could fix a software bug.
But with the attitude "wait 20 mins and it will be fine" they don't fix the root cause.
Well, it looks fine, but if it was a red warning it will probably come back and eventually it won't be fine. You might need a new big battery.
It is disappointing that the car does not even log the reason of the error message which makes debugging hard for the technician.
I had at least 10...
NFC would require you to pull the phone out of your pocket and put it next to the car.
Ford Mach-e uses phone as a key. I think it uses Bluetooth and it works with both iphones and Androids. In theory it connects to the car as you walk towards it.
Moreover the Ford has a numeric keypad hidden on...
Glad to hear the new panels work better. Maybe they changed their construction or material.
In my case I also had rattles from the driver seat, the B pillar, the speaker grill covers and the instrument cluster. I doubt they would replace or fix all these rattles and my dealer was not very helpful.
The two closest EA locations to my house typically have 1 or 2 stations that are not working. I have reported the problems directly to EA by calling their support number. For one location, I called them once every two weeks. I even spoke to a supervisor. It took them at least 6 months to fix...
One month with my Ford Mach-e GT which is also electric and silent and the interior has absolutely no rattles. I am happy I switched cars. I can finally enjoy driving without being annoyed of rattles from every interior trim.
I hope Porsche finally addresses the rattles but I doubt it would be...
There is actually an EV in between.
It is the Ford Mach-e GT with Performance Package. It drives much better than a Tesla, but not as good as a Taycan.
Its software is better than Taycan's and has rare meaningful OTAs but it is not as good as Tesla's.
As far as charging network it is the same as...
The recall update fixed some software issue but there are more issues (both hardware and software) that can still lead to loss of automotive power. When that happens the wheels get locked and they do not free spin. I experienced a software issue like that AFTER the recall was performed but...
