I love the sports sound and use it half the time I'm driving the car. It adds so much personality to the car, in my opinion. It is like the Misson E wheels to me - it isn't a Taycan without it.
I bumped into this in Norwich last week on my walk home.
I have to say, I've never liked the look of the CT compared to the saloon, but it was even worse than I imagined in person. It was all the things wrong with large Porsche designs - yuck. If there is one thing any Taycan doesn't need more...
Given that the Taycan saloon is such a beauty this looks absolutely horrible. It seems the Taycan saloon was a fluke and Porsche are returning to not being able to design an attractive large car.
My car (Taycan Turbo) has been sitting at the docks at Sheerness since the 12th of Feb and still hasn't made it to the dealer. Not been waiting as long as @Johnny73 as I ordered mid-Dec.
Last weekend was meant to be my collection date, but there is still no sign of the car at the dealer...
Sure the Tesla was a step in the right direction for EVs, but being the "looker" of that group back in 2012 isn't much of an accolade - it puts it just in front of a milk float.
Personally, I've always compared it to ICE and EV cars, especially given there are fewer drivetrain design...
I know this is somewhat subjective, but do many people really think the Model S is at all decent looking? I find this completely perplexing as it looks like a bargain car to me.
The Taycan will be my first EV, not because any Tesla is a bad car, but because the cars' design is so absent. I...
I amended my Admiral insurance online to swap my BMW M4 Comp (personal contract hire) for the Taycan Turbo (which is company registered), and it let me put that in and it had no impact on the premium increase (£88 either way).
I know of other people who have ordered the Turbo a couple of months before me and are not getting their cars until April. It probably depends on your model, but also definitely the dealer too.
You probably ordered soon after me.
I ordered my Taycan Turbo at the end of the 2nd week of December for a January build slot. Colchester also offered a February build slot at the time, but I wanted to make sure the car was here before the end of the tax year.
The car is now in the UK at...
How strange, it didn't feel modest to me. It felt huge and definitely worth the money. It probably makes a difference that this will be my only car (I don't drive too much), and therefore it has to act as a regular car and my fun car. ?♂️
On testing the 4S+, I loved the car (especially the...
I suspect the GTS will be a while yet but I'm looking forward to it.
By the time it arrives, we'll probably have had a facelift to the current cars, therefore the big performance gap between the Turbo/S and the 4S might grow even wider. Fully expect them to make the bumper and skirts more...
I think it all depends on what you want from a car - I'm sure the RWD is very worthy, but reviewers drive exciting different cars every day and are not just "stuck" with one. Having said that, many people here seem to have many cars too. :D
The new RWD Taycan doesn't do it for me as it takes a...
@SK74 I talked to my dealer about all this, but it isn't easy to know really where things are at... My build has been swift, ordered mid-Dec and built by 20th Jan (just over a month). From there it has slowed down a little now. It is at the dock now, and they said rather than early Feb (which...
My Turbo build was completed on the 20th Jan (ordered mid-Dec) and Colchester suspect it is at the port although it's showing as “in transit”. They say the next update will be when it is on a ship although they have been experiencing “a bit of a bottleneck”. Still, they remain hopeful it’ll be...
I’ve been told today that my car is heading to the port from the factory (or is already there) but that Porsche are experiencing some delays at the port when shipping to the UK. Anyone else hear this?
