I enjoy my Taycan RWD MY21, but given the high depreciation on the car, should I pay the balloon payment on the PCP (company car, tax benefits), or give back the keys to the finance company?
The residual is £45k, so is the balloon payment worth it, and can I negotiate...
When I first got my Taycan and first used Ionity, I got a couple of free charges.
Usually the transaction comes up in a few hours (maybe sooner or immediately) in the My Porsche app, with the bill coming up on a monthly cycle.
Every so often you need to reset the iPhone / CarPlay connection - don’t know why.
Steps:
Delete the iPhone device connection from the PCM (swipe right on the device to reveal the delete action)
Forget the car in CarPlay on the iPhone
Once that’s done, the connect the iPhone using USB and...
Got an email from a UK Porsche Centre, that Porsche Germany need to install a new heater in my car, as recent readings from the car suggest the passenger compartment heater will fail.

I had to fix a similar issue by removing the device (car) and adding it again through the Octopus app.
You will need to sign into your My Porsche account again to connect the Taycan during the process.
Yeah, don’t pay attention to the ENodes, and just let the app do its thing.
I have the larger PB+ battery, with 21-inch Exclusive Design wheels, with Goodyear Asymmetric tyres.
Summer range is between 298 to 313 miles. Some people have managed to get 4.0 miles per kW on here.
British miles used to be dependent on which king’s foot was doing the measuring.
Range depends on your driving style, journey route and environment. I get 257 miles at 85% SoC in the summer, with an average 3.7 mi per kW. In the winter, that drops.
