I’m in North Scottsdale and haven’t found a good one yet. Have so far always washed my own car. The Thumb has a hand wash that’s somewhat OK but still won’t take my Taycan there.
Aside from this being extremely frustrating this should also serve as a security warning.
Today, Sunday, Porsche decided to remove my Taycan from the app, disconnect all of the services and move my account to an old email address without a request from me or confirmation. Seems they thought...

Honestly I do not like the profile/timer set up. You could change the target in General or set a timer assuming you are charging away from the desired profile location. Other than General the profiles really work best when used with timers. That’s not absolute but just the best...
It’s stupid confusing but basically the profile is the min SOC when used with a timer. When no timer is selected the profile becomes the max SOC. That’s the easiest way to think about it.
When you use a timer the profile designates your min SOC. If you set it to 80% it will immediately charge to that. Without a timer it becomes your target SOC. Setting both a profile and timer to 80% is at best redundant. The idea is that with a timer the profile will provide a min SOC in the...
Why do you have your home profile set to 80%? This defeats the purpose of the timers aside from the AC timers. Try setting your home profile lower. This should work since your goal is to charge to the SOC established in the timer by the set time.
I’ve owned my RWD for 6 months and love it. As many have mentioned the software glitches are somewhat frequent but here is a tip I’ve learned…when in doubt don’t do anything..when you power down, let sit for at least 10 min and then power back on that seems to resolve 90% of the bugs.
The other...
This is great thanks. I didn’t realize that the new app had this capability. Two questions…if you charge at EA you really do not need to do this with plug & charge, correct? And can you stop a charging session with this app?
You win. That’s worse. Guess I’m lucky that I haven’t run into that. It does however like to warn me and tighten the steering wheel when I’m driving as an alert to pay attention even though I am with hands on the wheel, etc.
