I still have not noticed any range improvement on mine. I’ve charged it to 100% a couple of times since it was updated and I’m still getting 250-255 miles, as before the uPdate.
I’ve had my taycan for a year and I’ve never used a charging station. I’ve been exclusively charging it at home. Question from a noob, did you simply plug in the charger to your car to get the process going, or are there additional steps to take?
thanks.
My TTS was updated last week. I have begun to notice regular screen blackouts. This was not happening before, but it seems to be happening regularly now. Especially when Apple Play is on and an event happens on my phone, like say I receive an IM in Teams.
Also, my range has not increased. I...
Dang, that’s awesome. I’ve charged my turbo S once since it was updated and the range did not increase beyond pre-update levels. Anyone else experiencing similar pre and post range levels?
As I understand it, the new software was supposed to move Normal and Range modes to the rear motor only, thereby bypassing power for the front motor and increasing the range on these modes.
Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere. My 2021 TTS was updated two days ago. I love the responsiveness of the updated PCM and its new looks. My range did not change, however. My understanding was that it would. What have others on the same boat experienced?
Thanks in advance.
Temperature screen responds great. I have noticed that the main screen is not always responsive. Changing to the next channel on SiriusXM may take more than one push, for instance. Oddly enough all other positions on the same screen seem to respond fine to the first touch.
Well, after my dealer reassured me that Porsche wouldn’t release cars from the port for transport unless the TPMS had been installed, I find out this morning that this was not true. The car is now at my dealer still missing the TPMS. It does seem in fact that Porsche is running out of room at...
According to my dealer, Porsche wouldn’t release a car from the port for transport unless the TPMS has been installed. I will know for sure in one or two days.
Be prepared to wait. Ready for transport doesn’t seem to mean too much for Porsche these days. My car has been stuck at the port here in the US for over a month missing its tire pressure module system.
I personally am fine with 190 miles per charge. I don’t plan on driving my Taycan on long trips. Its primary purpose to me is to get around town knowing I’ll just charge it at home as needed.
