  1. Poor Quality per JD Powers

It's convenient that Tesla gets to stay off the chart because they refuse to provide data... but that score would put them well below Porsche. There is also a selection bias here, though... people who buy a Buick, Dodge, Chevrolet, Genesis, or Kia (top 5 "quality" brands) are simply less likely...
  2. 📸 How to Find Your Taycan Production Photo From Assembly Line

Mine says "hasProductionPictures: false" :-( Produced in November, delivered in January.
  3. Remote heating

Yes, it is internet based. So as long as your car isn't deep in an underground garage you should be fine. The app will tell you it is a 60 min preheat, but the cabin will be warm in 10-15min (60 might be ideal for the battery if you're plugged in and want to maximize range).
  4. Porsche Artificially Limiting 0-60 on RWD and CT4?

Some of the 0-110 will have to do with the two-gear rear axle motor on the Taycan. If you watch the Taycan vs Tesla drag race videos you'll see the same thing... it gives quite the advantage at high sustained speeds. However, they certainly software limit the acceleration, because the batteries...
  5. Apple music built in?

Does anyone else have an issue where only the "Recently played" playlists show up on built-in Apple Music? I can't figure out how to get the rest of my playlists to show up. They are all there when I use wireless CarPlay, though.
  6. Minimum sized garage for a Taycan?

25cm will be tight. Is that the width throughout the entire length of your parking spot or just the narrowest point? I park in a garage in the city with concrete columns on either side leaving me about 15cm on both sides with the mirrors extended. It's tight, but I haven't *yet* had an issue...
  7. Adaptive Cruise Control question

I'm not sure about your exact question, BUT please note that the SurroundView and SurroundView 3D are very different! There have been a few posts on here with people expecting to get the "pinch/swipe to rotate" view with SurroundView, but all you actually get is the simulated white Taycan...
  8. Rear Axle Steering for daily driver?

I'm so happy that I optioned RAS!... it makes driving my CT4 in the city easier than even smaller cars. Narrow roads and tight corners are easy. The handling on curved highways is amazing too, but I'm not sure how much of that is due to torque vectoring and PDCC.
  9. Valet mode?

On a related note... I saw that the seat settings are automatically applied/saved to your My Porsche account when you move them. Does this mean that if a valet gets in the car and moves my seat around, it will then immediately save that as my new setting? There has to be a way to prevent that...
  10. December 2021 Delivery

Thanks! Hopefully I'll make it onto the SIEM ARISTOTLE which would not only get the car here much earlier, but *might* even get it to me in time for the 2021 EV tax credit!
  11. December 2021 Delivery

I am very confused by this schedule... According to TYD, my CT should be leaving Embden on 12/24 and arriving in Baltimore on 1/7. It has already been sitting at the Emden for a few days, so I was hoping I might make an earlier vessel. This ship schedule only lists the Prestige leaving Emden...
  12. Key Not Detected After Tinting Windows

So they are shipping some without wireless charging??? I am assuming that they are then planning to install it at a later date?
  13. MSRP Dealers (selling Taycan with no price mark-up)

My signed sales order agreement for a 2022 Taycan 4 Cross Turismo was at MSRP at Sewickley Porsche (Pittsburgh, PA)... I'm assuming there will be no surprises at delivery.
  14. Thermal windows

I read somewhere (will need to find the source) that the wireless charging compartment works to amplify your phone's antenna when it is clipped in there.
  15. Remote Park Assist

Has anybody used the 2022 Remote Park Assist feature where you can have the Taycan park itself by holding down a button in the iOS app? I have a fairly tight perpendicular parking space in my garage between two pillars where it is somewhat difficult to get out of the door when parking manually...
