Yes. Disconnecting the 12v generally the best fix.
I couldn’t manage it (terminals are hard to access in right hand drive cars). There are loads of threads on it on things to try.
Porsche mobility were next to useless in helping.
When mine broke i phoned my local dealer (a mile down the road). They said it is a safety issue and that i should get it recovered by Porsche assist (in order to get a quick service slot). Its a safety issue as your car can fog up etc. So they're talking cobblers and should recover it and supply...
Go for a spin in your car for 10 minutes without the fobs. If you don't get a call from vodafone (monitoring company), then you may not have the service i guess. Or call them maybe - 03332220799 and ask if your reg is active.
I signed up for a myriad of cards/apps while waiting for my hugely depreciating asset to arrive! I don't charge that often away from home and when i do (aside from ionity and instavolt) i always just tap my credit card. It's small potatoes in the grand scheme of things, but should i be using the...
Looks a bit like the star wars one i had when i was a kid in 1977ish! Lit up neon red when you pushed the ever stiffer button to show the time!

My concern would be as much about insurance as well as warranty.
people who’ve done this sort of modification in the past - how do insurers react? Or is it a question of what they don’t know won’t hurt them?
my side thought on it is that my insurance on my...
Yep, but you’re not going to know how it’s been charged when buying a second hand car. So finding out the soh of the battery is important, because it might be a 350kwh to 100% every time car or an AC to 80%er.
