The Enode profile just appeared in my Porsche app. I didn’t have to do anything. I have EO Mini Pro 2 and it just seemed to happen after doing a test charge if I remember correctly. Following GMarcs66 suggestion to turn-off the Enode profile and set-up a normal charging schedule the Enode...
We’ve just started using Intelligent Octopus Go which I must say is brilliant. However, since using it my Porsche App keeps turning off my scheduled heating.
Octopus does set-up its own “Enode” charging schedule in the app but apart from that nothing has changed so I assume it has something to...
The screen isn’t massive compared to
Some EV’s but it is significantly bigger than a phone. Personally, I’d welcome the ability to use it as a media player while parked. That said, it’s not a big deal just a nice to have.

Does anyone know when/if this will be rolled out to Taycan?
The icon has appeared in CarPlay but it’s not currently functional.
(Apologies if this has been asked before -...
Around 2.1-2.3 seems pretty normal when the thermometer gets into double figures even on shorter journeys. I’ve only ever touched 3.0 on mixed driving. 2.5 seems to be my max on the motorway and that’s driving “sensibly” in more favourable conditions. I’m perplexed by the claims of 270 miles+...
Would be really interested to see what you get. Drove to Manchester from Suffolk in November and only got 2.0 m/kWh but the car was new and the weather wasn’t great.
It’s definitely improved recently though. Also, my driving style has evolved when I’m trying to be more efficient in the Taycan...
Interested to know what miles per kw/h people are getting from their cars now the weather is warming up a little in the UK.
I’ve noticed a marked difference and will now get 2.5ish on a good day which is about 230miles of range and my average since taking delivery in November is at 2.2...
The video services button was located in the central screen. In a Tesla, video and anything else that might unduly distract the driver is disabled when the car is in drive. I can’t believe the same isn’t possible in a Porsche unless the processing and data capabilities would not allow for...
Whilst watching the Top Gear video previewing the update to the Cayenne (link below), it caught my eye that not only is there a lot of dash borrowed from the Taycan but there was also video services button in the PCM and Disney+ on the passenger display. Do we think we’ll see this coming to the...
Pretty sure it’s an option you have to tick even though it’s no cost. It wasn’t available when I locked in my spec on my MY23 4S and it’s not been included.
I haven’t yet tried the GTS but the standard brakes on the 4S are excellent and, as you say, are seldom used in most scenarios because the electric motors are doing most of the stopping. Unless you’re track daying the car I think over spec’ing the brakes is more about looks than performance.
Full disclosure, I never would have noticed they are the same design as the Turbo S wheels and I have them on my 4SCT! They look really strange in satin black.
I know what you mean about the red. I need to see it in the flesh as every photo is different and I don't trust the configurator representation. It's the same with Crayon on the configurator which makes it look almost pure white.
I'm going to give Innodrive a whirl on the FoD but I found I was only ever using just adaptive cruise on the Tesla though so thought ACC would do and it's been fine on the couple of longer journey's I've done in my 4S. I'm with you on the HUD but I can understand it's one of those things that...
The standard wheels just look a bit odd don't they? As a minimum I'd upgrade to the Turbo Aero wheels.
What do you think of Volcano Grey with Bordeaux Red interior? Incidentally, I think the Turbo Aero wheels look good with the grey exterior but my problem would be they make look too much...
I have ACC and I have to say it's one of the better systems I have used. I used to constantly get phantom braking on the Tesla in adaptive cruise which is not fun on the motorway. I can tell you. No such problems with a regular LIDAR system like ACC. I know I would miss it if I didn't have it.
I haven't missed it on the 4S and I've found Power Steering Plus more than adequate for low speed but I just think RWS is an essential option for the more driver-focused GTS, especially for residual value. I'm never going to keep an electric forever!
