Just to wrap this thread up: car is finally at the dealer. Should be finished with service and ready for pickup by tomorrow afternoon. Really excited!

We have a 2017 Tesla Model X, which she still loves. Lots of storage space, quiet, people seem to like the looks. The car does not appeal to me, but it has been (relatively) solid with only a couple minor issues. I'd definitely also check the Mustang Mach E, if I were you.

You may well be right, but the current-gen Panamera is such a whale already! Still love it, just sold mine, but that thing was sometimes a bother to drive in tight city streets, it is just so freakin' huge.

Yes... each dealer was just telling me the policies at his own dealership. It varies from dealership to dealership.
