Apologies if this is discussed here somewhere, I couldn't find it.
Recently I'm getting this error and CarPlay battery info is way off. Is there a setting to tweak, or a reset somewhere that solves this?
Appreciate any info, thanks!
I've said it before, but, thanks again for this super useful app. And for keeping up the dev and fixes/feat adds. Really appreciated by a good many people!
My friend, humbly, this topic and this question are FAR too vague given that you are on a site dedicated to the Taycan; and, it is currently rife with anecdotes, documentation, debate, despair and delight regarding "delivery of the new Taycan"... I encourage you to have a look around.
+1 on the home charging thought. i realize it isn't practical or doable for everyone, but one of the singular joys of driving electric is plugging in at night and being fully 'gassed up' and ready to go the next morning. i can count on one hand the number of gas stations i've visited in the last...
Now, I don't know, and you are perfectly within your rights as a person to react this way, but... I humbly suggest you are overreacting. The car measures SoC and range via an algorithm that takes input from a number of parameters. After time in service, who knows what the algorithm thinks is...
Yes. The Leica M8 (all sorts of issues and quality wasn't great) was rough, I suffered through that, and the M9 (failed sensor, software glitches), two of them, but by the time I got to the M240.. no regrets whatsoever. Fundamental product transitions take time. In five years P will have sorted...
Well, good on ya keeping the sanguine attitude, you'll live longer, but... I'd be hard-pressed to keep my cool. They basically are bullshitting about someone having taken it for a joy-ride or something... and in general they clearly aren't super interested in making sure you're a satisfied...
Also sounds like your dealer is one to avoid. This reads like a lemon that might also be re-squeezed by some very unprofessional 'repair'/'build' work by your dealer. Very unfortunate, but please don't judge Taycans in general by this experience. I hope you find a resolution soon.
I would...
It kinda has to be in the straights doesn't it? The corners are about lateral grip and clearly they are at the limit. They are going to corner at similar speeds I'd guess.
this is probably radiator, but, in fact i believe the wiper fluid res is right in the front there... wouldn't that be a nice miss if it were only that.
Yes. Ditto. I have the "Porsche" ones and I actually quite like it. It's about the only place on the car that says it, other than the pretty subtle rear end badge integrated into the brake light.
You can do aftermarket bespoke ones as well, so you can actually have them say whatever you'd like...
a couple somewhat redundant articles on braking in Taycan, some of that info may be new to you; a tech paper that illustrates classic and new brake-by-wire integration schemes; and then the obligatory bill nye preschool version... :D...
