Full Porsche code pending. Just need/ want to get this wheel choice correct, however subjective it is. My only other decision is to get the carbon fiber trim or not for the extra 4k I think (I want it, but not sure if it’s worth it).

My heart wants the executive white aero’s to be a bit different and some color pop. I have them in Ice grey metallic color, whereas the RS come in std. color. Mind you it’s a white interior as well. The RS spiders’ seem the safe choice that is a bit more common, but that’s kind of why they are in 2nd place for me! I can’t go wrong either way as wheels can always be replaced later on! Just thought I’d hear some responses from real life is all. These will be on an extremely high spec’d GTS btw.

New Mission Es aren't all that and at the very least need to be painted.

RS Spyders all day long.

Neither are good for range.

Those are executive aero wheels so not exactly the mission E’s. I’m not too concerned about the range, but I’d hope that the aero designation is optimized for range. those wheels also come in deviated exterior color so I can get them really in any color. however you are right about the spider wheels not being optimal for range but then again you gotta make some sacrifice somewhere

#1 says “I’m different, look at me”
#2 says “I’m different, but classy”
Fairpoint, I was going for the young classy look that’s why I kept the color volcano gray and didn’t go over some outlandish paint sample. My first choice kind of fits my personality. I’m still a young profession on the medical field, but I also ride motorcycles and not just any motorcycle… so I like to stick out just a tad!

Around where I live, the color combination and car itself is just so rare that I can’t really see it in person and that goes for either option

IMO he RS Spyders rock visually and we have seen (sorry I cannot find it now) that they are lighter weight wheels. Can anyone find that Porsche statement about their relative lesser weight?

Silver Spyders are not orderable i think - only WeiB Gold. Mine were done at the dealer. It arrived with std diamond cut but 2 were scuffed. Having seen cars in the flesh whilst browsing the compound I just felt lighter wheel colour on a dark/strong colour was the way to go. I didnt see them till the morning of collection, which gave me some nerves - but utterly love how they turned out.

Soccer man has a good point. I like the Spyders as well; I’d like to see them in a lighter color. I’m partial to dark wheels on a light colored car or vice versa. Visually similar to kitchen design (I know) where you choose light counter tops to go with dark cabinets or the reverse. I guess it’s personal preference in the end.

Oops - equally grim then - new wheel but in UK it doesn't come in the colour shown but is available in polished, gloss or satin black. Also called Exclusive Design wheel in UK and not Executive. They may be more range efficient though.

The white wheels are interesting but look like they don't "go with" the car. I'd stick with the darker wheels.
