I retrofitted the lower B-pillar with alcantara at the local saddler but color match was not perfect, as it look different with every kind of light and agle.
but I like it so far, could have even better with grey interiour...
Good idea!
I know the upholsterer who covered the seats and so forth of the Williams F1 cars back when we were winning :) and whilst he has retired I think his son continues, so I may well ask him what he recommends.

I'm in the process of finalizing my GTS build with black leather interior.

I have seen the plastic lower B-pillar in some Taycans and am disappointed.

Does anyone have any experience or photos of the B-pillar options:

"Inner Door-Sill Guards and B-Pillars in Leather"
"B-Pillar Trims in Race-Tex"
Stick with the plastic … or think about what your thoughts would be on excessive wear on leather or race Tex. Due to the shape and position you tend to slide against the b pillar on entry and exit. So it gets a lot of wear. The plastic although not as luxurious holds up and replaces easily if scratched and damaged. Race Tex will definitely show the wear.
