These drains tend to clog and do a lot of damage. They have been redesigned, I believe, starting with MY22. Watch this video on how to work on them. I am not saying you should do it yourself, since there is a TSB that you can bring up to dealer to execute on, since you are under warranty.

That video was super helpful thank you

Well I’m going to bring the car into Porsche anyway for the outstanding recalls when I searched the vin. (Brake hose and some ARB6 thing)

I’ll keep my mouth shut about the scratches and see if they even say anything.

Thank you all

You only have 3 months left on warranty. I would schedule your appointment asap.
I agree, do not say anything about the bottom, see what they say.

Looks like you have the following:

ARB0 - Brake Hoses replacement with some saying full brake fluid flush performed
WRB0 - PSM update requires full brake fluid flush (ask for this one if applies)
ARB6 - this requires them to run a full VAL log of the car to detect bad cells
TSB on water drains per video above - ask them to perform this if applies to your VIN

Thank you sir. All of this on top of a garage leak in my 5 year old home lol. When it rains it pours. figuratively and literally.

I will follow up with updates once I have them. I get frustrated when people post an issue then you never hear the result. It’s very unhelpful to not get the final resolution.

From everything you shared, I do not see a reason for you to worry, as this is just routine stuff with nothing unusual, with most of us had it all done already. We all deal with recalls, know that bottom can be scratched, and the drains are easily managed. I would let the dealer do their thing that applies to your VIN and you will be good to go. Please do share the paperwork that they provide so we can make sure they did everything as expected.

Good luck, hope it all works out for you. Once you get over this initial worry, you will no doubt have a great time driving it. Amazing car to drive.

Well hopefully this is a turning point with your run of bad luck.

Hope things continue to improve for you.

One thing I noticed on the Porsche TSB 224/20 is that they only modify the left and right middle drain (not the other 4 drains, front, back on both sides). I popped mine out and in fact the middle ones were the only drains modified with the clear silicone piece pulled out.

Wondering if anyone has insight into why they (Porsche) doesn't recommend modifying all 6 drains?
