Hello everyone,
I recently bought a 2023 Taycan Turbo (J1 II) which was originally bought for the Puerto Rico market by the original owner.
I live in northern New Jersey.

I've never been able to use Porsche connect because according to Porsche customer support "Porsche connect services are not available in Puerto Rico therefore the Taycan was not equipped with hardware needed for Porsche Connect" (due to no internal or external SIM card).
They also said that the hardware cannot be retrofitted to use Porsche connect.

My question is: is that something that a 3rd party shop would be able to do?And if yes, what kind of shop should I reach out to?
I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

Not sure but suspect it is an e-sim and software disavled rather than a physical SIM.
