Cars and Coffee at COTA

Cars and Coffee was this morning at COTA. What a great event. I recognized a beautiful Mamba Green 4S with "800 VOLT" on the plates so I went up and introduced myself. @CAracer it was a pleasure speaking with you today. You have a beautiful car! Was anyone else out there from these forums?

Danke, the 2cv and the 86' 911 have more in common with each other that you would think...both basically go karts with an engine...lol.

As far as Cars and Coffee at COTA...I finally checked on their website, and it looks like there are Cars and Coffee events on:

• June 18th
• July 16th
• August 13th
• September 24th
• November 19th.

I will be in Austin this weekend, I may try to stop by and visit the event.

The forecast for the 18th is 103 degrees. Having lived in Austin for three decades, I would expect it to be pretty miserable even in the morning. The September event might be a better one to attend.

Yep gonna be a pretty miserable couple of weeks (Houston forecast) - add ca 10F to each high to get a Heat Index of 'feels like' temp and its just ridiculous!

Was getting ready to ride at 6AM this morning and the feels like was 94F!!!
