Charging suddenly changed

Wondering if anyone else has seen this or has advice. I have my profile and timers set up to charge from 10pm to 5am, when I get price break. I have watched the YouTube video that explains this and has been posted In here numerous times. This has worked flawlessly until 3 days ago.

Now the car doesn’t get to full charge (85%). It stops at some random different number the last 3 days. This gives anxiety as I don’t know what I will wake up to.
I tried deleting all the profile and timers and I played with making it like one hour during the day so I could watch it and that worked fine. I can direct charge or manually do it fine but that just costs more and requires thought. I love the idea that the car is just ready to go everyday at 85% when I plug it in but now seem to have lost that.

Literally just did that… will see tomorrow if that’s the fix. Hope so!

to confirm, it reboots if you just hold the two fingers on upper right corner? Took me to “engineering mode” and then I just got out from there bc didn’t want to mess anything up. Is that correct?

If your PCM went dark and restarted, you did it correctly.

I hope that your situation turns out differently from mine, but that's how my troubles with my onboard charger started - after a few days of intermittent failures, it just started refusing to keep charging for more than a few minutes at a time. The entire onboard charger had to be replaced. Fortunately, that only took a couple of days, and the replacement one has worked flawlessly so far, but I don't know if I got lucky with parts being in stock.

One thing you could do is see if it will charge while you're watching it - turn on "direct charging" and see if it stops with errors or not.
