Take that with a pinch of salt, this is a typical audio astrology style article, that makes no effort to perform frequency or reverberation analysis in different spots of the car.

Essentially the whole article is a bunch of "feels" and the only thing the dude has is a decibel meter. I would not take any score there seriously whatsoever.

Compare the approach for example to:
This guy is one of the top reviewers on IEM's and headphones, and uses actual science and quantifiable metrics.

The video you link has no car audio reviews or comparisons throughout a wide range of car audio...got it...cool link I suppose about obvious measurements of audio equipments that can simply be googled or youtube'd for that "infamous" flat frequency.

Yes, it's not car Audio related. I used it as an example.
Basically that website is as much an Audio review, as Astrology is science.

Not only is there no quantifiable analysis performed, there are basic failures in statistics as well.
What does the review number tell you? What is an 8?

Scrolling quickly through that site, no Audio system on that site ever scored below a "5". So the whole scale is already pretty damn useless. In this case, you can throw the 5 away, and set it as zero, as that is the worst possible. In which case both the Taycan Burmester and the B&O are just "mid".

The guy writing those reviews has no qualifications whatsoever writing about audio equipment. Can be read as an opinion of a random dude who's been in a few cars. It's not any better or worse than anyone else out there.

The difference comes in when quantifiable metrics are used. In case of a car, at the very minimum the frequency response, reverberation, distortion and so on should be measured and compared. Then you have at least some objective info, and not just somebody's feels.

Just because I've been in thousands of cars (I am in automotive engineering), does not make me qualified to review the sound systems. It however makes me qualified to call out "reviews" that are little more than pure biased opinion of someone with zero objective data.

I agree with Kyle about the push to boost function, just derate if I'm pushing too hard.
Disagree about the two speed gearbox, I love hearing the downshift with sport sound.
No discussion about the most important thing, the sound system.
Audi USA site only lists it as B&O, no watt rating or number of speakers.
It's better in my experience than taycan's Burmester
In my opinion B&O is much better than the Burmester.
I would put the Bose at 5, absolutely shit tier.
Burmester at a 7. and B&O would be an 8.

None of these systems however come even close to the Harman Kardon used in polestar 3/4

It's a pity car brands in europe are afraid of copying things, to the point they don't even copy good things. When people praise a lot audio system in a different car, just copy it ? It's such a common practice in the technology space, but ze germans don't get it...

The Audi also comes with 5G connection, at least in my test drive in Swiss. The taycan j1.2 was not even getting 4g at times, only 3g sign
