Hi
I have ordered Taycan 4S in September 2021, and I was scheduled to pick up the car at the Porsche Experience Center in LA today.
I live in the SF Bay Area, so I was scheduled to fly down to LA yesterday.
About 4 hours before my flight, Vehicle Delivery Specialist called me and told me that while doing the final check on my vehicle, they saw that suspension fault light is on.
He told me that they won't be able to fix it before my pick up, but as long as I don't change the driving modes, I can drive up to the Bay Area and drop off the car at the local dealership for repair under warranty.
I asked him for the diagnosis detail. He said they have not done diagnosis so won't be able to tell what is required to fix the problem nor how long it will take.
I couldn't believe that they have not even done the diagnosis and yet told me that I can drive this 300 miles from LA to home.
I told him that I will cancel my trip and asked him to do the thorough diagnosis first.
I can't believe a car at this price has a problem even before delivery.
I will wait for the diagnosis first, but I am now debating whether I will just ask them to give me my money back instead of waiting for the fix and taking the car.
