Dashboard issue

I,ve just had the heater replaced and also the brakes looked at due to very soft brake pedal. The photo shows the passenger side where the dashboard and door card stitching dosen’t line up. The drivers side lines up perfectly. I remember the dash and door card lined up before the recall work was done. Do they remove the dashboard when replacing the heater, or brake pedal problems?

I’m not sure what tolerances should be expected, but in my case it doesn’t align perfectly, but a lot better than what you’re showing.

For brake pedal no but from memory some interior trim is removed to get to the heater location, again from memory the work was performed on the passenger side.

Ask your dealer to remedy.

Question not related to dashboard not lining up heater replaced was the heater recall asking this question because I took my 2020 Taycan 4s for some recalls that they stated that the heater replaced was need at a cost of 3500.00

Curious if you've also had a howling or chirping noise when accelerating after the heater replacement? I've had that and was thinking it could be related to improper dash reinstall and perhaps some seals not correctly replaced.
