I got to see the Lucid Air in person at their Valley Fair location in Santa Clara/San Jose. I thought everything behind the rear tire looked odd, especially the trunk opening. Didn't see enough positives to sway me away from the Taycan CT though.

Don't forget me. My Taycan 4 CT was dropped in San Diego from the Glovis Sigma on March 26th and my TYD app keeps updating to a date further & further into the future. The current ship date from the post of San Diego is shown as May 13th with a delivery date of May 27th. Considering that my dealership is 76 miles from the port I don't believe it will take 14 days to travel 76 miles but you never know. I believe these delivery dates are given to us as an estimated date that may or may not have reasoning or true backup and may merely be a guess.

My attitude has changed so much, I initially felt lucky to be given an allocation without any admin fees even though the reasoning behind it was Porsche's form of an apology for taking more than 14 months to schedule a repair with a part that was never manufactured and lead my AD into buying back my 2015 991.1 GTS to shut me up and solve my issue of owning a broken car. I now am beyond frustrated and am trying not to think about the first car I have ever spec'd out to my taste. I almost feel as angry as I was waiting 14 months for a manifold to be made for my GTS and only am able to tolerate this because the car is unbelievably beautiful. Otherwise I would have just skipped over to the Audi dealer and picked up a E-Tron GT RS.

Hopefully the parts arrive soon and this is an easy fix, this thread is the first place I have read of anything specific being the issue and I will need to go back to the start of the thread and discover what is really going on, thank you for staring this.

My TYD has done exactly the same, I contacted my dealer as shown and was told that the May 26th delivery date is what he sees as being the latest information. This was a bummer..

@Krinsky1965 Looks like your car is out of port processing. Is the dealer not able to get transport till May 26th? Or does their system not show that it’s out of port processing? Did you ask if there’s any open campaigns? I’d prob push for them to call the port and see if they can setup transport.

funny, I love how odd it looks. It's the one modern car that reminds me of Citroen (in its glory days). I still want the CT more :)

My TYD is special and goes backwards, yesterday I received the "call your dealership" message. I called and they told me that they see a date of May 20th and nothing else. Today I am back to "Port Processing".

I represent 13 frustrated Taycan buyers. We all have Taycan Cross Turismos stuck in port processing, and the dealerships can't tell us why.

Porsche is doing damage to it's brand by leaving these buyers confused with no realistic delivery estimate. Collectively this is well over $1 million of customers.

I urge Porsche to do a better job.

We just got an update on your car and it appears we are waiting for a backup camera bracket for your Cross Turismo. This is currently not in the country and I expect to get a notification soon when these are shipping from Germany. My sincere apologies for the delays but hopefully this will be resolved soon. Thank you and enjoy your weekend

I messaged Porsche NA the other night. My dealer called me the next day and assured me that there was no missing parts or software needed that this was just an EPA signature. He has stayed in touched but the updates just don’t make sense with the info others are given. I almost feel like we should have logged what excuse we have been given for the delay on our vehicles. I really don’t blame the dealers, I think they are in the dark. I think this is a Porsche miscommunication and I want Porsche to stop making the dealers call us with lies.

Funny. German engineering may be awesome but German Customer Service is starting to look like an oxymoron.
I had this same issue when I ordered a BMW where they promised the car in 2 weeks and didn’t receive it for 2 months. No one would tell me what was going on and I finally rage quit, got my deposit back, and purchased a Lexus instead. I later found out that BMW ran short of carpeting for the trunk of my vehicle. Looks like Porsche is no better. And I purchased the Porsche because my wife hates dealing with our Audi dealer!
I feel for everyone here and hope this gets resolved soon.
