The “Dipped beam converted” message appears on my car when first started and I’m not sure why? Looking in the manual this conversion is to cast the dipped beam away from oncoming traffic and is directed by navigation data knowing your location and if it’s left, or right had driving. As I’ve a UK car I would have expected it to default to the UK, rather than the display showing a conversion is needed. I have manually changed the setting, but it reverts back agin, presumably from navigation knowledge. has anybody else in the UK got this problem? It’s as if the car has not been fully setup for UK use. . .

That's a setting on the car, so when your driving wrong side of the road you can convert the bream to avoid dazzling drivers.

Yes. But it still dose not make sense that it displays "Dipped Beam Converted" every time we start the car.

Stupid question, but I assume you have the option de-selected?

On mine I get the message on startup irrespective of whether it is selected or not.

I think the software default is Germany, so when in the UK (it knows through sat nav) it changes the dipped. Another implementation that needs fixing. . .

I can also confirm no message - so there must be a setting to create a Rhd or LHd default that “ sticks” when car turned off

Mine does say it on start up each time. Just pops up on the right hand side of the drivers screen.

No I don't get the message. I'll have a look for the settings as I do remember a setting when I went and setup the car at day 1.

The message only appear if you press the start button on entering the car. If you let it self start - ie, unlock, jump in, press brake pedal and close the door it doesn’t appear. Maybe that’s how you start your car?

The message appears in the far right display and goes away when you select motion.
