Exoshield

Has anyone used Exoshield or a comparable product for windshield protection? It’s pricey but seems like a good investment if you drive on the highway a lot which I do.

No but I had my PPF installer put on STEK windshield protection film. Within the first few weeks from new the film already had a few chips in it. Defineely worth it especially with parts shortages lately may effect getting new windshields. (Cost was included in full body PPF)

Thanks. How is with your wipers? Any haziness or spotting? From what o read you should get about two years use if you use wipers a lot. I live in Florida so that’s a concern for me with so much rain.

I'm in Florida as well. I found rubber wipers chattered a ton and even got stuck a couple times so I switched to silicone blades on the advise of my installer and they are perfect.

If you use your wipers, these films aren’t great.
I carry a windshield repair kit in the glove box. The kits cost $12-15, are easy to use, and deliver professional results.

Just returned from a 600 mi round trip to the Hill Country here in TX and had at least 4 instances where debris hit my screen from 18 wheelers and/or gravel kicked up from the roads (unreal mount of roadwork going on right now) - I also have STEK installed and after one of those whacks was sure I'd find penetration/glass damage but no, all appears good - well worth it for there reasons you stated.
