General Service: Expiry Date must be set

Was wondering the exact same thing!

I picked up my Taycan about 2 weeks ago, I've got the same General Inspection message and another for Tire Sealant. Dealer has no idea.

This is all part of 'Smart Service' - some of this is configurable in the 'Predictive Maintenance' feature where you can switch various reminders off.

Your dealership ought to have reset the service campaign notification for you.

My car didn't come with tyre sealant (for example) or a first aid kit but I got the warnings. To disable I went into the Predictive Maintenance, scrolled to the item to be monitored and disabled it.

Thanks for the info. I got the same message; SA had no answer..I am scheduled for the WMA recall at the end of Nov. He suggested it may ckear after the recall work is done?

Go to "Smart Service" in your car's PCM (or "Predictive Maintenance"), click on the "Inspection" tab, click on "General Service" and then set the expiry date. I was advised to set it to the same date that shows up on Smart Service. That should make the message go away. I didn't do it yet but I'm confident it'll work.
