After the Glovis Challenge pulled up to the doc in Benicia a little after Midnight (8/19) it began to unload the West Coast Delivery first thing in the morning. Take a look

Its been a long wait for mine. Maybe I will see it at the dealer today and take delivery early next week!!

Thank you for posting. No word from my dealer but they have not bene forthcoming with information the entire process... I did see a shine new Porsche truck oat the bay bridge the afternoon looked like it was heading to Benicia Hopefully we have them early next week!

That is a cool video. I just assumed they’d all be stacked in containers and the whole container is offloaded, pretty cool to see them drive it out (super cool for the longshoreman, imagine going home to tell your family what you drove today!).

My dealer just notified me that my car cleared quality checks and should be in their hands early next week.

I plan to take delivery at the dealer. This is my first EV so I am hoping they can explain some of the features. Plus my dealer is in Socal so gives me a chance to drive 400+ on it.

I’ll pick up at the dealer as well. It’s only several miles away.

Usually 5 to 7 days as there are a few steps before you get delivery.
US customs,
Porsche Port inspection,
Truck pickup & delivery to dealer,
Dealer prep and updates,
Delivery to you

Delivery is set for next Thursday for me. I received notice from my dealership a day ago that the car was unloaded, customs cleared, and quality checks passed. They expect to get it Mon/Tues.

Here they come into the Walnut Creek dealership this Saturday morning !! The rest coming to a dealer near you. I am expecting pick up on Thursday this week after it receives the latest updates.

I’m scheduled for Thursday also got an email from Porsche that the car was just added to my Porsche ID account

Picked it up at noon today and just brought it home Will let you know first thoughts is a day or so. Right now its drive time...
The car was delivered in a pristine condition paint work was superb and the build quality is 100% Porsche. Dealer confirmed all updates have bene performed and there are currently no outstanding open items on the Taycan
