I searched for posts on this ... honest! ...

Any advice for removing jeans dye (mainly black) transfer from leather seats (red) - Best product?

Seen some YouTube vids recommending general household cleaning spray and an electric brush, which seems a bit harsh! .... I tried a proprietary leather balm type cleaner - and also leather cleaning wipes - with little success.

I did not use protector when the car was new - lesson learned...

Many thanks.

Try Autoglym Leather cleaner or a mild detergent.

I have used Dodo Juice Supernatural Leather Cleaner. It removes the transfer and its not aggressive to the leather.
Use a leather sealant or ceramic coat after and you’ll only need a water wipe to remove the dye transfer going forwards

I don’t think I can be any help with this one. I can’t remember the last time I wore jeans!

But I do have a handheld steamer for general usage. I’ve used it on leather and carpet before. Perfect for car use as it has attachments that come to a fine point vs just a wide end. I’d hope in theory it could work for your situation.

FWIW I used the auto-glym leather cleaner (it was easy to buy locally), and got a good result - Cheers.

My wife had horses and the pot of saddle cleaner with glycerin works wonders. Horses have gone and kept the pot but almost empty so will need to replace, hopefully cheaper than anything from Auto-glym

Here was my response to a similar question:

That reminds me, it's about time I cleaned my seats again too.
