I posted a detailed comparison of the 2025 Macan 4 with my 2021 Taycan CT4 at:

https://www.macanevowners.com/forum...tric-car-downtown-magazine.20321/#post-308700

Some of my comments are personal preference, and some are general comments.
Added context to that post: My special-order Macan 4 arrived at the dealership prior to writing those comments, and i spent a lot of time with it on test drives and going over everything in it. I ended up not trading in my CT4 for it because various error messages kept popping up in the instrument panel, and the dealership had too many problems fixing things. I had no confidence that on my drive home with my new Macan 4 that another error message wouldn't pop up. So I have decided to wait a couple of years to let the new software bugs get ironed out.

I also prefer the Taycan because SUVs are a "last resort" for me. The Taycan is just so much more enjoyable to drive. But the extra range (larger battery pack) and the better cockpit layout (vastly superior storage design; physical switches for physical controls; and a few other things listed in that other post) and especially the concern over problems with the first-gen Taycan battery pack all got me interested in trading in my CT4 for a Macan 4. Now that is put off, and I may go for a new-gen Taycan CT4 over a Macan 4 in the future.
