Hey everyone,
I am exactly one month into 4S+ ownership. Enjoying the car and I joined this forum 2-3 months before delivery. I have learned so much here so a big thank you to all of you. I dare say some of you know more than your local dealership! (Of course not including @LukeManning !!)
Thankfully I have not had any of the more severe problems well documented here (knock on wood) and am very much enjoying the car. It is my first EV and thus far had zero experience with what this entails. Given lockdown and winter, have not really done a big trip and snow tires along with the wet/snow has also not been conducive to aggressive driving. (Planning to now put solar panels on the roof this Spring so joining the overall EV revolution...)
So other than it being a fantastic vehicle what are your three biggest complaints?? Mine are all PCM related:
1). Integrated Apple Music — it is a crap shoot if the Apple Music icon is available as a source. Sometimes there, sometimes not. Sometimes shows up later, but then says: sorry can’t log in while driving. Incredibly buggy.
2). I guess Switzerland does not have the option that the car connects to a local WIFI (i.e. my home WIFI). As I have underground parking I can never connect to the car using Connect — if I wanted to take that risk as many of you have said to avoid using it as some correlation with the 12V issue. (Amazingly despite all the concret, my E-SIM card has one bar and can download data for updates)
3). Random things not working for a day: PCM said I was not logged in and had to proceed as guest. Location services for HomeLink or engaging the suspension lift not working. Then 24 hr later all working fine.
So what are your top 3 (or does my third one count as two?)
