Well, something new... yesterday morning was the coldest yet at 8 degrees C ( since I have had the car anyway). I jumped in and drove off and after a couple of miles I noticed the steering wheel getting hot, strange I thought, I have never used it and must of pressed the button by accident. I switched it off with no further thought... then i noticed my butt was getting warm too and I looked down and noticed both front seat heaters were on, on their low setting.

I definitely didn’t switch any of this on, I must have a look in the setttings and see what is automatically switching these on....

anyway,it was a pleasant surprise; has anyone else noticed this?

Was the car on a pre-conditioning Timer? If so, that, combined with the low ambient temperature, turned on the heaters.

That's it then. Because the temps were low, it knew you'd like some extra warming.

BTW, I been meaning to comment about how impressed I am with the cooled seats. I had “cooled“ seats before, but those seem more ventilated than actually cooled. maybe it is typical porsche, but I thought it was great.

Yip, mine does this as well. Quite cool, but hot! Love that it does this.

We call low heat and high ventilation fan the hair and clothes drying mode - we live in the Pacific Northwest where we still get rain. :)
