What does the account do, and what does not having it limit you from doing?

On your MY24 you can not do anything apart from reading the fault codes, clearing the fault codes and reading measuring values without a PPN account.

UNECE R155/156. J1.1 MY24 has R155. J1.2 has both.

If your car is MY24 it has UNECE R155 implemented, which means you aren't going to be able to modify a single parameter without having a PPN account. There is no need to check anything.
