Just picked up my car and got the email regarding the charging app.

Requested the card and downloaded the App.

So just wondering how does the app actually work?

And for UK owners, which providers can you use it with? Is it just Ionity?

You can use it at Ionity and at any Porsche Dealership (they've all rolled out shiny new 350kW ultra fast chargers). No doubt it may be federated to others but unaware who they might be.

I've had mine 10 months and not used it once.

I think you can simply use the Porsche Connect App (rather than Ionity) and on the 'Explore' option, on the map there is a green circle - tap that and it looks for a QR of the station you want to use. It may be this is an 'either' / 'or' as the charge points have RFID readers so you should be able to tap your Taycan Charge card to get things going.

Osprey might be one of the federated ones (just remembered).
I have just found those doing what you suggested thanks.

They seem to need the card, not the app. Card should arrive in couple of days.
