I have been watching the Taycan for sometime and thought now might be the time to pull the trigger. While working out a deal I found out about the lease pull ahead program. Has anyone used it before? I am just curious on if people stick with the Taycan or go back to Gas.

Just based on general conversations I've seen here (and had with broader EV owners) - it seems that most folk who buy an EV don't go back to gas IF they have a home charger. The most regret I see with EV purchases is from people who don't have access to home charging or other very reliable charging (e.g., at work).

Beyond that, it's just a better experience. People like to worry about their battery degradation, but unless you keep your car for 20+ years, battery degradation very likely won't impact your driving/charging habits much at all.

As for the Taycan? You're on a Taycan forum - most of us are here interacting with each other because we love our car. I think it's the greatest car I've ever driven, and every time I drive a new friend or family member, they're extremely impressed with it.

I highly recommend it. But it's not the most economical choice (depreciation always hurts more on cars that start off more expensive), and if you like the Audi e-tron GT, you can get a very similar car for a much more reasonable price.

But I wouldn't trade this car for that Audi or any other (less expensive) car in the world.
