Hi,

Is anyone else having issues with their regeneration not working even when it turned on?

Sometimes I have to turn it on and off a few times until it works. Once I get it working it works all that day. Then when left over night I seem to have the same issue.

Curious what you mean by not working?
How are you turning this on (button on steering wheel, drive mode turns it on….)
Are you “on” or “auto”?
Does the dash icon for regen appear?
What does the power meter show you on the dash when braking? (Change center display option for power meter).

Not really having a problem altho I notice that changing driving settings after enabling regen causes it to turn off and forces me to turn it on again.

Hi,

Before driving off I turn the regeneration ON (using the button on the steering wheel) and have the power meter showing.

When you apply the brake or slow down the power meter shows no regeneration.

I’ve turned it ON, OFF and had it on AUTO. Eventually after doing this a few times it works and regeneration is shown on the power meter.

Think it maybe a dealership visit to resolve?

What’s your state of charge? When full it won’t allow you to regen at all, as there’s nowhere to put the energy. I bet there’s corner cases of temperature that do the same thing, is it really hot or really cold? Have you just been driving really hard (battery hot?).

Maybe it´s the "cleaning" function for the brakediscs?

From the manual:
To assist in cleaning the brakes, the recuperation system is deactivated for a short time after standstill times of more than 6 hours. The recuperation system is activated again automatically afterwards.

Do you know the page number of the manual that has this? I don't recall having seen it before.

Hi,

State of charge varies so can’t see it’s that and never drive the car hard

Could possibly be temp as it’s mainly in the morning when it occurs, but outside temp has not been that could 10c
