Taycan Wrap -- experiences / feedback?

Considering wrapping my Taycan in a Miami Blue. Has anyone wrapped their car? Can you share any good or bad experiences? Thanks

I like the blue color but I would be constantly triggered by seeing the OEM color every time I got in or out of the vehicle.

I wouldn't recommend vinyl, but instead look in to Clarity Coat/Auto Flex. Or high quality colored PPF (like Stek). Most vinyl doesn't last as long as they want you to believe, it starts looking gross pretty quick.

It would be better if you can do a PPF (maybe one that changes the color too). The vinyl is thinner and doesn't protect from rock chips, so when you get them, and they puncture the vinyl, you're going to see the original color underneath.

There are a few PPF brands that have color change options - not sure if they have Miami Blue though.

I did a XPEL Stealth, which simply changes the glossy paint to a matte finish, so it's not really a full color change, but definitely a different look. I've seen it done on Dolomite and it looks great too.

Doh. Missed that it was a ppf too. Thats the solution then!

About to get mine wrapped in Carmine Red. The guy doing it did my buddy's M240i and it came out stellar. He also wrapped some parts on my E400 Coupe and did a splendid job. If anyone in the Bay Area wants the details, let me know!
