They did indeed. Many have been in place for quite a few years.

Although I didn’t do a lot of hotel stays the last 2 years, unsurprisingly, I have noticed that some sites with Tesla Destination chargers have been replaced with other third party paid solutions. Previously if you asked at reception, and you were a guest you were free to charge at the Tesla chargers.

I don’t know what terms Tesla signed the hotels up to at the time, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s dissimilar to the Porsche terms above. Possibly why some are now getting replaced. I can’t imagine many hotels wantonly gifting 90 kWh of electricity per hotel resident for free these days.
The hotel I stayed at last night, Apollo Best Western had set up about eight charging bays in their undercover car park.
Three Tesla, Three standard, one of which I used and two marked MG!
When I left at 4.00am this morning the only one on charge was me!

Arrived home yesterday having driven from an overnight stay in Port Macquarie.
One fact I learned on this trip is that an overnight AC charge to 100% gives you a good leg up for the next day as opposed to starting the day at 80% from a DC Fast Charger.
Also Tesla destination chargers work on Taycans, and plug straight in.
The drive from Albury to Jindabyne on Sunday was epic!
The road goes from flat farming land through alpine country to Jindabyne which is a ski town, with lots of ski resorts.
Summer is popular with the hiking and biking communities.
My drive on this road was at 9/10ths, and I had a BMW bike following me which added to the fun.
He could not get out of the corners like I could!
Monday was a little fraught finding chargers as the Porsche Nav system was down so it would not plan charging stops.
At one stage I had to detour off the freeway north of Sydney for a 30 minutes drive to a 75 kw charger and then another 30 minutes drive back to the freeway.
Total trip was 3200ks with an average of around 22.0 KW/100ks.
Can‘t wait for the next trip!
