Tesla trials - Tethered cable length

Hi folks

For the Tesla trial - did they extend the length of the charger cables?

If not, were they already long enough?
or is it considered OK to park side-on?
Or can you bring a CCS extension? and if so where can you buy?

I've recently used tesla supercharger in Debrecen, Hungary.
What I've found is that in theory if I would have parked as close as possible to the charger, the cable would have been long enough. The problem is that the parking spots had some really tall stoppers, too far from the charger imho so I ended up parking sideways on 2 spots
Had to look ashamed for the other tesla owners around me.
I'm also curious if a CCS extender even exists and if it would actually be possible to extend that ccs connector. Feels like it would be unsafe if you would be able to just unplug the extender by mistake with 250kw flowing.

Thanks mmdumi - this is bad news since the demand for Tesla would be very high in the UK, because our non-Tesla network coverage is rubbish. I think blocking 2-3 spaces would not be tolerated.

I think the main cable is liquid cooled - so I don't think technically it would be possible to use an extension - which is also sad

I’m driving a Tesla, waiting for my taycan, and I was thinking exactly the same. Is it possible to extend the ccs cable with an ‘extension cord’? In all my research I couldn’t find an answer. to be honest I think it’s not possible as what I understand the big cables use some sort of cooling. The locking melanisme would not be a problem as it could work the same way as the CCS COMBO 2 ADAPTER.
i would be happy if someone has a different thought about the possibility for a ccs extension cord

Yes exactly, the cables have cooling so an extension cord is not possible. For alot of supercharger locations the cable length will be an issue for the Taycan.
