During the usual and continuous quality controls and technical inspections to ensure Porsche adequate quality across all models, it has become apparent that additional quality check are required on the affected vehicles. WNW3 consists of an HV Battery "Leak Test" being performed and awaiting further evaluation. Adapter Tools will be supplied to every dealer so that the test can be performed without removing the HV Battery.
Test results from the leak test must be submitted to PCNATechnical Support via PRMS so that PAG can evaluate each case. If necessary, the HV Battery may need to be replaced on vehicles affected by WNW3.
Please do not perform the Leak Test until the Special Tools have been supplied to your dealer. The repair is not yet available at this time.
