Wanted: PMC Plus - Red 32amp 400v supply cable

Does anyone have this cable spare, it is the red industrial socket one 32amp 400v. I did not specify it on placing the order and I have a 32Amp 250v blue one (the default), which I cannot use but I do have 3 phase power as I have moved house since I ordered. Happy to a swap or purchase.

Will you not also need to use a different EVSE now to take advantage of your 3 phase supply (PMC+ is 9.6kW max) to get either 11kW or 22kW (if you plan on an upgraded EVSE and have the onboard 22kW AC charger option)?

The new version of the PMC plus allows charging up to 11kW. My on board is only 11kW. I have a 3 phase supply socket at 32amp 400v in my garage, that I could just plug into with the PMC plus, but just have the wrong supply cable

I am still waiting for my Zappi to be installed, delays after delays at the moment and little confidence it will be anytime soon, so looking for an option to tide me over.

A 16Amp one on ebay. Looks like the same part on an Audi E-tron, which makes sense.

I am not sure if that would be OK, as I think it will only draw power at 16Amp, i.e. 11kW. But I am not sure and would rather it be 32amp, so as not to cause any issues.

You'll need 32A as 16A will half the charging rate - not that I'm an expert but the cable will effectively throttle back the flow.

I use the PMCC STD 32A supply cable to get 7.4 kW on a single phase otherwise I'd be limited to 3.6kW with a 16A cable.

it is a good point, but i was looking at the calculations (link above) and I am no electrician, but with 3 phase you are running at 400v and 400v at 32 amp give you 22kw. So 16amp at 400v gives you 11kw, which is the max power load for the car. I agree at 240v you would need the 32amp. That was my logic in thinking it may work.

Did you manage to source this? We are going to a hotel in Spain that the red industrial sockets. I can't find a supplier online anywhere...

Hi Tom, unfortunately not. Nothing back from the Porsche dealer on it either. One did come up on eBay, but not before I had my Zappi installed at home.
Good luck finding one.

Hi, I just saw your post. If you still cannot find that cable or anyone finding one, I got it from ECS Tuning. The part number may be different but it is indeed 3Ph 400v 32A.

Got all three of them.
P.S. I've got a 22kW PMCC.
