Your (US) State's EV Infrastructure Plans - Texas Example

Interesting article that links to the Texas State assessment of the current and future needs in respect assumptions for numbers of EV's on State roads in the next 4-5 years. Very long doc but a lot of very interesting metrics and observations in here - they seem hell bent on listing (at least at the time of writing of that doc) only those cars that max. out at use of 150Kw chargers with only a nod to 'one' car out there that can utilize 350KW chargers ! Hopefully we will be more forward looking than this in respect longer term charge requirements!

Every State has a similar document I am sure - usually informative reading. I added a few diagrams from the very long PDF to give you a flavor but a ton more detailed info in there.

This TX doc is dated 2022, probably mostly compiled in 2021 but interesting (and likely ever changing) list of planned battery factories in the US:

Composite map of current and planned future charging site density projected requirements or 'goals' for next 5 years.

Some obviously generalized metrics around impact of proposed EV densities on the Texas Grid - essentially minimal if literally in a max case scenario where every station is in use at same time:
