But charging with the Mobile Charger works.

Just got my Taycan back from the dealer after they replaced a suspension bellows. Been with them for a week. They didn’t charge my car so I got it home at 8%. Plugged it in and “charging not possible.”

Shut down and restarted the car. Powered the CPH50 off and on. Tried both charging ports. Reset charging certificate thing in the app (even though I don’t know why that matters). No change. Charging not possible.

Pulled out the Mobile Charger. Charging working fine except for it’s so slow not sure I’ll be able to drive it anywhere in the morning.

Any brilliant ideas. Is it certain this is the CPH50 or is it possible it is the onboard charger? No issues charging prior to this.

Appreciate the group’s insight.

Are you using the mobile charger on a 120V outlet, or with the 240V pigtail? (Guessing 120V since you said it was so slow)
You might consider going somewhere that has 240V outlet so you can rule out the car / onboard charger as potentially the problem.
I don't have a chargepoint at home, so can't help with troubleshooting on that one.

If you had gone the outlet install for that Chargepoint, then you would be subbing in that mobile charger at 240V and have your answer already. People rave about the hardwire option, but flexibility is one of the drawbacks.

Indeed. I did have that thought last night. :) I'm pretty comfortable rewiring, so I can easily install the 240 pigtail for the mobile charger on the circuit if need be.

In the meantime, I have plugged into an L2 charger in my office building this morning and it is successfully charging at 6+kW which will help me create some buffer while I figure out what is going on at home.

I'd say if you're getting 6+kW on L2 right now, the car and onboard charger are fine. You seem to have a Chargepoint problem.

Is the light on your CPH50 blue, green, red? Blinking, solid?

ChargePoint just replaced my entire charger when the 14-50 and the pigtail plug melted. They shipped it to me and return labels for the old one. Give them a call. Customer Support is great with them.

Came home last night, plugged into my ChargePoint, and everything worked great. Charged overnight on schedule, per timers. Non-reproduceable bugs are the worst. :)
