Your are correct. I had a switch installed to cut it off on long drives. Its a show car for me.

I drive it, but it's only locally driven four or five days per month. I'll take it to a couple of local car shows and drive it to an event, but that's about it.

what was the original sound system? Bose or Burmester? Adding subwoofers and closing off that trunk space for sound waves to go through surely will chance the acoustics of the car in a negative way.

Not for me, Different strokes, I don't like your choices and am only replying per your request. I have alwasy upgraded my audio components but wouldn't dare do this in an EV for the obvious reasons.
