    In the the early days of the MissionE. Level4 Autonomy was mentioned, but recently it has gotten very silent around that.

    I have zero expectations for autonomous driving with the Taycan, and would prefer Porsche omits it to keep pricing in line with the original projections (between Cayenne and Panamera). There's already been reported price creep as the Taycan has approached production. Considering LG Chem is already doing its best to extort more money out of the group, there's plenty of upward cost pressure.

    Manufacturing capability aside, there's a lot of regulatory red tape to clear before full autonomy is a realistic option. And as a current Tesla Model 3 owner, I find babysitting the car when in autonomous modes to be far more taxing than simply driving it, anyway. So until it is a full hands-off feature set, I don't see any value.
