I wanted to share a bit of positivity for anyone out there considering a used Taycan, especially CPO. A couple of months ago I picked up a 2021 Taycan 4S (CPO) (fulllll of options, price tag 156,000 euros paid it 58,000) with 98,000 km on the clock. Since then, I’ve already added another 5,000 km — and I couldn’t be happier.

All recalls were completed early in the car’s life (most before 12,000 km), so there haven’t been any surprises on that front. Maintenance has been far lighter than I expected given the mileage, which makes the ownership experience even more enjoyable. A lot of pieces are now available (on Ovoko for instance) and repairs with other garage - not porsche - make all the repairs a fraction of the "porsche cost".

The car itself is simply beautiful. On 21" E-Design wheels with C-rated energy tires, I’m still getting around 400 km of range. With A-rated tires, it could likely stretch to 425–440 km, which is impressive for a first-gen Taycan. They rated my battery degradation at 88%....but it's reallllyyyy weird cause when I did a long enough discharge I calculated 88 kWh in the battery pack. Oh well! Great news anyway!

Of course, no car is perfect, but overall the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. For those who, like me not too long ago, are browsing the market and wondering if a CPO Taycan is worth it — my honest opinion is: they are bargains right now, and a joy to drive every single day.

Here are a few photos to share the excitement:
PS : the interior is PRISTINE...like NEW condition (I'll take some photos if you want to see)

Just you wait, it will burst into flames and be worth $0 since the all the batteries die!

J/k. Same boat as you but with a CPO. Fantastic car. I must say, I see some Cayman in those hips.

Thank very much interesting ,from which Italian's region are You from?I bought in August a Taycan 4SCross Turismo -2021-44000km directly from Porsche Milano Nord with 1year full guarantee and still 4 years warranty on battery [ or 160K km] rated at 90%....The listed price for mine was above 160K€ and I paid 70K€.[ in reality I leased for 36 months....I shall decide what to do later on ]..under the official Porsche certified system the car has all the recall and controll updated and 111 various controll ... I also have 21"wheel ,black paint and a very long list of optionals [and most probably few I consider not relevant, like passager monitor...] Nice instead the 4 steering wheels, refrigerate seats,pre-heating battery, driving assistence..
I'm still in a <discovery phase> but the overall impression is positive...I had two years experience ,and about 80K kilometers, with a different EV [ Subaru Solterra] and despite the negative reviews and comments about, I was fully satisfied...now it's my Partner's car.
Just curious to know if You decided to renew the Porsche's warranty [ it seems feasible till 14th years],if You subscribe for the Porsche charge with Ionity[ I have the impression that directly with Ionity is less expensive].I own a wall-box where I charged for 70% of the time and when travelling I opted forTesla's Supercharger but now I understood being Taycan on 800V platform at Tesla's Supercharger shall be limited to max 150Kw...Did You have experience about.
Thank in advance and ejoy...I'm leaving in Lombardia ,more precisely in Brianza between Monza and Lecco....regards.paolo

Nice car, belle caisse! And nice (jolies) photos too. An Italian car you got imported in France?

Pedantic note: we all have gen1 Taycan ;) Taycan gen2 is not even announced yet. There's only the refreshed gen1 in 2025+, aka J1.2 (or rather 9J1.2 - 9J1 is the car type, like all 99x and 98x; J1 is the platform code).

Congrats! Gen1.1 still has the look on its side. And once more you prove how well engineered the car was and how good still is.

I'm currently based in south-east of France but my wife is from Lecce. I brought back the car fromPorsche Center Milano to Aix-en-Provence. I used Elektra for my charging stop. I'm currently only using the badge Porsche gave me, not subscribing to Ionity - it seems included in the porsche charge badge.
Great for your 4S CT!!! I don't think I'll extend the warranty....BUT if anything goes reeeaaalllly wrong during the year of the CPO I might reconsider. I have a well known garage that will work on my taycan (not a Porsche garage, but they work on a lot of Porsche) and the spare parts that he buys for the repairs are quite below the quote porsche would give me.

Yes! The prices in Italy were quite lower compared to France - they used a lot of the taycan for businesses, offloading the cost of the car on taxes (partita IVA) and when the leasing came to an end they were flooded with taycan and a price for the kWh that is 3-4x higher than the one in France.

I looked at the revamped J1.2 platform and not a lot changed - hardware wise - they still have the "spaghetti mess" in front for the cooling and still use the same modules (most of them anyway). So yeah, more like a refresh than a Gen 2 really.

Thank.Indeed Porsche Milan has various second-hand Taycan on sales in a price range from 65K-95K euro for the years 2021-2024...
As part of the official Porsche system the cars are passing through a <certified control> on 111 items ,released with 1 year guarantee further renewable..
For mine 4S CrossTurismo 2021- 42000km I opted for a 36months leasing ...
This July I did a long journey from Milan to Antwerp-Bruges -Lille-On Fleur-Fontainbleu-Bois-Avignone-Eux-en-Provence-Arles covering about 3500km in 12days [ unfortunately not yet in Taycan but with previuos Subaru Solterra].I did not have any problem to refill [ better to say recharging] ,price x Kw are much lower than Italy ,charging stations are well available on motorway and even Tesla Supercgarger...As You surely well know the driving style in both Belgium and France [ Paris aside] is more relaxed and calm than Italy where everybody believe to be always on race...
