Hello all,
First off I am new here but I want to send out a warning to everyone who is planning to buy a Taycan. Think twice before you do so. Unless you have masochistic tendencies and you get joy out of being tortured mentally.
I am going to give a quick chronological rundown of what happened to my car, and how I was treated by the abomination of the Porsche Dealership in Drogenbos ( Belgium ).
Mileage now: still below 40 000 km.
This is a Financial Lease.
1) All was well in my personal Porsche Paradise for about three months. After a good night of sleep I went down to my garage and found my Porsche sitting there unable to move. Warning points to an issue with the Onboard charger.
Car got picked up and was fixed after2 weeks under warranty.
2) About three weeks ago, I've had the Taycan for about 3 years now, I receive the same warning but now in yellow. Same symptoms though.
I had tried prolonging my Porsche assistance with the Dealership but their communication skills are so bad, I ended up trying to email and phone them for about 2 weeks with no result. So now I end up having to pay for my own car getting towed and having to get a rental car.
3) At this point I am still under the impression this would be a warranty fix. This feeling is reinforced when I get an automatic email by Porsche Drogenbos where it says in BIG RED LETTERS "NOT PAYABLE" .
What would an average human being think when he reads this? That he does not have to pay anything, correct?
Just to be sure I phone the Dealership and they confirm that indeed my car has been repaired, and that it will be a warranty fix..
4) Now to the grand finale. I arrive at the Porsche Dealership to pick up my car. Where the guy at the reception informs me that my car is definately not repaired yet, and that it will not be fixed under warranty.
He shows me the information and tells me that this part has to be repaired and it will cost+- 6000 euros, all to be paid by myself.

Mind you, I was fuming at this point and left the Dealership in a state of shock.
5) Lastly, yesterday I received another automatic invoice by Porsche Drogenbos that literally said "Warranty Intervention". So I was thinking they might have changed their mind and showed some good will after our meeting.
Guess again, there was an error in communication, and I will have to pay the 6000 euros + another 1000 euros for the maintenance.
Conclusion: I have never in my life encountered the level of this customer service and lack of communication skills.
For people in Belgium: AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS.
