Has any one tested the new release of the eFlow app with a Taycan?

This app was called BimmerFlow earlier and is a real nice app for BMW’s. I have tried it with an i4. Easy to use and CarPlay compatible. i am away from my car now so can not test it. Unfortunately not a free app.

Here is what it pulled for me. I did have a compatible dongle hanging around that I had never used. Was reluctant to use CarScanner app due to its origins. It's great that an EU registered company is making a high-quality app – even if it is not as detailed as CarScanner is.

It is a little bit nuts that I purchased a Turbo S and have launched it precisely never!

@tigerbalm what is the concern with the CarScanner App?

What are you missing from the app compared to CarScanner? There are a number of items you can click and it shows further details, at least for our BMW. Same type of cell SoH and cell Soc.

In the BMW you can also get a detailed charge curve if you leave it connected etc.

I found it easier and more logical to use, that all.

I like this app and happily paid the in-app-purchase price. I believe that CarScanner has more raw exposure of all the various OBDII parameters that the car exposes – where as this app is more EV battery and motor only focused.

Pretty nice UI. Seems to work. Wish there was a decoder for the error codes.

It claims my state of health is 92.2% , close to what Porsche determined when they checked it over a few days … they determined 90%.

For the uninitiated, can any eflow user please let me know as to how connect this to the Taycan? I downloaded the app and am not sure how to proceed to connect. Rather than try and miserably fail, I thought I would ask here -). Thx!

Have a look at the website and find a suitable OBD reader. I had an OBDLink MX+ available and used that one.

Put the OBD reader in the OBD socket below the steering wheel and find the BlueTooth name and connect to it.

Then start the app and connect the app with the OBD- reader.

Should be fine with the readers in their list
