You have gotten slower than with launch control. No worries, I noticed that too when I first got the tune.

Drive till your car is below 20% charge.
Leave at that charge level for at least 12 hours,
Recharge to 100%.
Make some runs and smile big as you get faster with a lot more wheelspin

7.51 from a roll (only .35 worse than launch) is likely much better than I'd have gotten stock, no? I thought that result was super strong considering what you and others have suggested is a stock 60-130 from a roll.

I am interested in any tune...i get to the point that I find my TS needs more power, but any tune must show results.

My previous rs5 700hp (after tune stage 3 with new turbos did just that Immediately).

I haven't seen any convincing improvement yet over stock. .35 worse than launch doesn't seem to justify the tune. it should at least match no?

Once I am back from holidays I will do a few test rund 100-200kms on dragy (pre tune).
0 to 100 is doing consistently 2.8s on dragy. TS CT.
100 to 200, I do expect an improvement otherwise such a tune is not for me.

I honestly hope the post tune yields better results....then I would consider it!

Why not from the beginning? It is software only...should kick in immediately.
If the tune cannot give the figures one would get when using LC I would pass on it personally.
Would love to tune my TS CT but need convincing data.

Despite your efforts, really appreciate that you are sharing all this, I hope the tune does get better. I am sure in due time there is more in it....but so far I am just not convinced. If anyone has a TS with before / after Dragy (or equivalent) numbers, please share.

You will most certainly feel like it has given a lot of improvement right away. I noticed that my battery usage was a bit wonky when I first installed it and the reconditioning made it to where it became constant again.
I would go just as fast then it slowed down faster than with the stock tune as the battery levels dropped. After one reconditioning, its just like stock except always fast (but a lot more wheelspin sounds lol)

I believe its barely faster, but faster, than stock with Launch control. Remember, you are adding a maximum of 50BHP to a car that weighs 5200lbs or more.

Your best times without launch control stock would most likely be in the high 8second range making this mod ~1.5 seconds faster right away. But it will drop to low 7s again (almost 2 seconds faster) after the battery reconditioning.

Good feedback. I'm going to do a more comprehensive set of runs this weekend when roads are more clear.

I think the results have been dramatic, however. If I had done 60-130 from a roll (without the extra launch HP) I'd likely have gotten high 8s on the result. Now I've gotten 7.5. So let's say 1.25 second increase. I don't think comparing it to launch times where you're already benefitting from the boost HP necessarily is apples to apples since the tune is essentially locking in the boost HP (plus 50 or so) at all times. I'm going to do runs from 0 though to see what I can pull in the 1/4 and 0-60.

Observationally, the power increase when stepping on it at hwy speed is dramatically improved.
