And the battery. ClassicsIt is incredible that we are seeing problems with the OBC again. What's next, the heater ?
Have you check Audi's A7 forum? I'm not suggesting A7 has issues, but coming from a couple of Audis' myself, it's not a brand I buy for a reliable car.I was looking for positive comments on reliability not performance etc. for MY25 but the comments and real-life experiences people are sharing here are validating for me to stay away from Taycan altogether. I don't want to spend $80-$100k on a car for its aesthetics only to fret each time I take it out about its reliability.
Taycan has been my dream car and I have followed it from Mission E days but these continuing issues are more than helping me move away as I replace my aging BMW 528 next month. Leaning towards Audi A7 which is another car I like after Taycan, so yes, will stick with ICE as there is no other EV that interests me other than problem-ridden Taycan.
And the 22kW version isn't even available yet!It is incredible that we are seeing problems with the OBC again. What's next, the heater ?
That is correct. There is no mention of this option in any of the launch materials for the 2025 Taycan or Macan EV.And the 22kW version isn't even available yet!
Actually, I have not checked the forums. US News and other such publications rate it pretty high and since its been on the road for a while, I am thinking it be ok. Taycan repairs seem way to high so any ICE would be ok in comparison probably.Have you check Audi's A7 forum? Now that is getting colder lets see of the newly designed HV heater is doing a better job. I was waiting for reviews of gen 2 to consider buying a new Taycan. Looks like the same problems.Beta testers yet again.
Seems Porsche learned very little from the first gen Taycan faults and customer experience.
What happened to the car that caused you to spend the night on the expressway?I often travel on pretty sketchy roads through NYC at night time. I spent the night on the side of an expressway in Queens a couple of months ago during the worst T/Storm of the year. I was not sure if I was going to drown in a flash flood, get hit by a falling tree, robbed or killed. I was there all night - 19 hours waiting for a tow.
