A few dealers in the US have told me the new 2025 Turbo S, Turbo GT, Turbo GT Weissach will be special order only.
Dealers won't have these in inventory just to sit on the lot to discount eventually.

Shows a big change in buyers and Porsche increasing prices to a narrow base

Any Turbo GT/Weissach you see in inventory has been customer cancellations

What kind of discount you think they will be giving on the GTs that are sitting?

Ive already talked to a few dealers. 6% is the start, but that won't move the needle on a car at that price point.
The longer it sits, the more discounts. Weissach has the most leverage because very few want that car. Non Weissachs do sell though so probably not muc more there

How discount would it take to make a Weissach appealing to you, if at all?

I heard the Porsche technicians at Spa during a meeting and the Weissach is designed for track purpose. Doesn’t really make sense to drive it like a daily driver just to show you have more bragging rights than an GT.

I've driven it and it's definitely for the track. All creature comforts removed, even heated seats, surround cameras, ambient lighting, any leather.

The people that ordered it are Porsche collectors that just wanted in the collection.
Every dealer I spoke to on these cancelled orders told me this.
That's why Turbo GT is the way go for everyone

I use my Weissach as a daily driver, no issues at all. I don't know why people think you can't.
I didn't use the back seats in my last Taycan so that was never an issue and I think the Weissach looks loads better with the wing. The Turbo GT spoiler lip certainly isn't my thing.

This is why I'm targeting the Weissach as well. I don't want back seats, I've never used the trunk (only frunk) and you know it's a special car with the aero and most important, that CF wing.

I'm talking to all the dealers that have the Weissach in inventory. They are very assertive in keeping contact to try and move the car. They are certainly afraid of flooring it

No brainer for me, had to be purple though, darker colours don't do it justice.
I'll be doing a 3,000 mile European road trip in mine next year, no hesitations at all.

That's the color. A monochromatic colors would hide the lines.
Purple Sky is best color Porsche makes IMO
Good you kept the side mirrors in CF. It ties the B-Pillar and wing together.

Did you get the Silver interior accents? What other options did you get?
I was happy to see it has the double pane glass.
You guys get the sport bucket seats. We don't in the US.

I got the silver accents but only because I had to have either silver or blue. The standard black interior wasn't available when I ordered.
Other than that I just got aluminium pedals.
Total extras of about £700 I think ?.
I soon got to £30k speccing the none Weissach so it was a good saving on none essential stuff.
The bucket seats are great but if I had to have one slight niggle with the whole car it's that the padding on the seat back could do with being a little higher. My shoulders go slightly above but I've made a foam infill piece. I'll get a proper one made by an upholsterer.

If you are going to get a Turbo S and option it out, you should just get a Turbo GT.
The best part of the Weissach is that it stops you from over optioning it.
